- The Bundesliga is one of the first international soccer leagues to resume play amid the coronavirus pandemic.
- DraftKings is also launching Bundesliga DFS contests for the first time.
NEW YORK - DraftKings has reached an agreement giving the sports betting operator the exclusive live betting streaming rights for Bundesliga – Germany’s most popular professional soccer league.
The agreement will give those who have an account with DraftKings the ability to stream and bet on Bundesliga games straight from DraftKings mobile platform.
In the wake of this deal, DraftKings will now offer DFS contests on Bundesliga for the first time and it’s be expected that DraftKings Sportsbooks in the United States will offer even more betting odds for the sport.
Bundesliga was one of the first top tier international soccer leagues to begin playing again after the Covid-19 pandemic suspended play in Mid-March. The league held its first games without fans present last weekend.
DraftKings customers will be able to stream the rest of the 2019-2020 Bundesliga games at no extra charge. As long as one has a DraftKings’ account that is in good financial standing within the online sportsbook, Bundesliga games can be streamed and bet on simultaneously.
DraftKings acquired the rights to stream Bundesliga from Sportradar.
The next Bundesliga game will be on Friday, May 22 at 2:30 p.m. ET when Hertha takes on Union Berlin.
