Gervonta Davis Vs. Jake Paul

Fight Rules In Favor Of Jake Paul

A list of rules for the fight were set, including the weight, glove size, round total, judges, and finishes, which raised questions and ultimately shortened the odds on boxing betting sites.

There are two main rules on this list that heavily impact the fight and an advantage towards Jake Paul. The first is the 195 max weight limitation. Paul is currently weighs in at 199.5 pounds compared to Tank at 133.75 pounds, a massive 65.75-pound difference in favor of Paul.

It gives him the edge as far as moving his way around the ring easier and being able to force Tank any which way he wants. Not to mention, Paul also has nearly half a foot on the height advantage as well.

The second rule is the glove size, which is a 12-ounce glove. Davis usually fights with 8-ounce gloves given his lightweight weight class, while Paul usually sports 10-ounce gloves in the cruiserweight division. This is only a two-ounce difference for Paul, while Tank could feel the weight with a four-ounce difference.

With the line movement already pretty heavy and rules and stipulations leaning towards Paul, there could be some value in his odds this early on, before the fight.
