Brady, for the first time in his career, is an unrestricted free agent that will have several teams willing to spend big money to land the six-time Super Bowl champion.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-150)

One team that has put themselves in the middle of the Tom Brady sweepstakes is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They are favored to land the 42-year-old signal-caller with -150 odds.

Before Brady's post, the odds were listed at +125, showing a major shift toward the NFC South team.

The Buccaneers came into the offseason with the fourth most cap space in the NFL and can spend that money acquiring Brady while also being able to afford supporting pieces around him.

Second-year head coach Bruce Arians is allowing former No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston to walk in free agency as the Buccaneers make a hard push for Tom Brady.

One player that is favored to also join Brady and be signed by the Buccaneers is former Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon. The Bucs are in the driver’s seat to sign him with +250 odds and a Brady/Gordon tandem would immediately make Tampa Bay a contender in a crowded NFC.

Los Angeles Chargers (+150)

Many online betting sites have the Los Angeles Chargers with the second shortest odds to sign Brady in free agency (+150).

Brady was born in California and a return to his home state can’t be ruled out and the Chargers (along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) have reportedly already made a huge offer to the former Patriots quarterback. Expect Brady to consider signing with the Chargers but their poor offensive line play could keep the aging quarterback from completing a deal.

Chicago Bears (+1600)

Other than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Los Angeles Chargers, one team that has some longshot odds to land Tom Brady is the Chicago Bears.

Despite having Mitchell Trubisky under center, the Bears are looking to upgrade the quarterback position and are worth the dice roll with +1600 odds to sign Brady. Chicago has an elite defense still and legitimate No. 1 wide receiver in Allen Robinson though they will need to address some holes on their offensive line and find a consistent running game.

There will be no shortage of teams looking to sign Brady but these three teams are the only ones worthy of placing a bet at online sportsbooks.
