Marco Rubio 2028 Election Odds See Positive Shift

  • Marco Rubio has +900 odds to win the 2028 Presidential Election.
  • Bovada offers a higher payout on Rubio's odds than Kalshi and Polymarket.

WASHINGTON D.C. – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been shaking up different odds boards to win the 2028 Presidential Election as of late.

The swing on online sportsbooks came after President Trump held a donor event in Mar-a-Lago and asked who he should endorse between Rubio and Vice President JD Vance.

2028 U.S. Presidential Election Odds

  • Gavin Newsom +300
  • JD Vance +330
  • Marco Rubio +900
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez +1200
  • Donald J Trump +1600
  • Josh Shapiro +2500
  • Kamala Harris +2800
  • Andy Beshear +4000
  • Gretchen Whitmer +4000
  • Nikki Haley +4000
  • Pete Buttigieg +4000
  • Ron DeSantis +4000

After the event, one anonymous guest stated, "It was almost unanimous for Marco." Another former administration official said that the Mar-a-Lago donors are more in favor of Rubio as well.

"The Mar-a-Lago donor crew are not JD people… He did not get picked [to be vice president] because of the Mar-a-Lago crowd. If you remember, that crowd was lobbying the president to pick Marco,"

Get The Value At Bovada

Although Rubio has gained some steam and some political betting oddsmakers are showing it, Bovada is holding still, listing him at +900 to win the election.

Prediction markets, on the other hand, like Kalshi, have seen his percentage to win rise from 14% to 17%, which is a significantly worse payout than what Bovada is offered.

At +900 odds, a $50 wager would profit $450 if Rubio is elected, while the 17% on Kalshi would only payout $295 on a Rubio presidential win.

All of the major prediction markets have given Rubio the 3% boost, lowering the value of his payout if he were to win.
