NEW YORK – We are under a week away from the 2025 NBA Draft where the Dallas Mavericks hold the number one overall pick and are expected to select Cooper Flagg first overall.

Bank On Productive Rookie Season For Flagg

Cooper Flagg Total PPG

  • Over 16 PPG -120
  • Under 16 PPG -120

Cooper Flagg Total RPG

  • Over 6.5 RPG -130
  • Under 6.5 RPG -110

Cooper Flagg Total APG

  • Over 3.5 APG -110
  • Under 3.5 APG -130

Cooper Flagg is expected to be a generational type talent and should be busy from the jump during his rookie campaign and there are plenty of factors that come into play when looking at his NBA odds.

For starters, Flagg led Duke in every statistical category in his freshman season with 19.2 ppg, 7.5 rpg, and 4.2 apg. All of which are clearly over the mark in terms of his betting lines.

Something else to keep in mind is the injury to Kyrie Irving where he tore his ACL last season forcing him out for more than half the season with an expected return to action sometime in January. That said, this directly impacts Flagg’s points per game and assist per game averages.

With Kyrie now out, it leaves a team-leading 24.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, and 4.6 apg on the table and up for grabs for the Mavs next season. While bettors can confidently take his ppg total to go over, his assist total should get the same treatment.

There is no other real playmaker on the team aside from Irving who led with just 4.6 apg. That said, while Flagg isn’t known for his playmaking ability, his team-leading apg in college is worth backing the over here.

As for his rebounds per game, this is a lean towards the under. Dallas had plenty of big-time rebounders last season with six players throughout the season averaging 6.5+ rpg. Flagg’s expertise will surely be needed elsewhere on the floor, especially in scoring, meaning his rebound total could be the one to fade the over.
