OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. – The entire PGA Tour season comes down to this, as the BMW Championship marks the second stage of the 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs this week.

The field was cut down to 70 for this tournament and will be reduced yet again to 30 following this week’s event. Dustin Johnson soared to the top of the Cup Playoffs leaderboard after a dominant -30 win last week at the Northern Trust.

He now leads the betting odds for golfers looking to snag a Top-20 finish this week at the BMW Championship.

Top-20 Finish bets allow bettors tons of leeway on the performance of their picks with the obvious loss of value on the odds of the bet.

However, the drop in price is well worth the wide range of variance that is permitted with a golf bet slip full of Top-20 picks.

With that in mind, here are some of the top picks to finish in the Top-20 this week.

Dustin Johnson -300

DJ played some of the best golf we have seen in a while last week when It counted most, destroying the course on his way to a -30 under par score. He has won three in a row before and has the experience and current form to do it again.

The key has been DJ’s putting, which has been laser-accurate like this eagle putt he drained on the 18th hole last week to go to -22 under.

Collin Morikawa -135

Morikawa is still one of the best ball strikers on the Tour despite a bit of a poor showing at the Northern Trust. The key to Collin this week is his experience. Morikawa has played this course much more recently than much of the field, competing in the Fighting Illini Invitational in 2017 and 2018 where he finished second.

Jon Rahm -300

Jon Rahm is another name that is playing well this season following his win at the Memorial just a few short weeks ago. Rahm has some prior course knowledge in his pocket as well, competing in the US Amateur tournament on this course not that long ago.

Kevin Kisner +115

Kisner doesn’t have tremendous driving distance and doesn’t seem to have the Moxy to warrant an outright futures bet, yet comes in as a strong T20 choice this week. Kisner has been nuclear hot over the last month, playing his last 10 PGA Tour rounds 40 under par.

Scottie Scheffler -110

In a similar vein as Kisner, Scottie Scheffler simply cannot be stopped as of late. He is coming off of back to back top-five finishes and could easily sneak his way into another Top-20.

Daniel Berger -170

Berger has shot just two negative strokes-gained rounds since all the way back in February. Berger was the first golfer to win a tournament following the pandemic hiatus and has been playing extremely well since, snagging four top-five finishes in his last six outings. Seeing him in the Top-20 again would be no surprise.
