  • Aaron Rodgers is favored to be with the Green Bay Packers in 2021 with -550 odds.
  • There have been rumors of Aaron Rodgers leaving the Green Bay Packers.

GREEN BAY, WI – With the Green Bay Packers now in the offseason, there have been plenty of rumors surrounding the future of Aaron Rodgers with the team after their loss in the NFC Championship Game.

With these rumors swirling around, online sportsbooks have taken notice of this and are offering odds on where Aaron Rodgers will play Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season.

Where Will Aaron Rodgers Play Game 1 Of The 2021 NFL Season?

  • Green Bay Packers -550
  • San Francisco 49ers +800
  • New Orleans Saints +850
  • New England Patriots +950
  • Indianapolis Colts +1000
  • Pittsburgh Steelers +1200
  • Las Vegas Raiders +1200

Sitting at the top of the odds board are the Green Bay Packers as Rodgers has spent his entire career in Green Bay. Also, Rodgers is still under contract for just one more year with them as well so if Rodgers were to on another team, it would have to be done via a trade which could be hard considering Rodgers is coming off of an MVP form season.

However, a trade is not entirely out of the question being that it is clear that the tension in Green Bay could be cut with a knife. Starting with the Packers draft, they drafted quarterback Jordan Love last season which could mean that they are preparing for Rodgers to leave.

Also, it is safe to say that Rodgers is not happy with the Packers right now after coach, Matt LaFleur, caused the Packers a Super Bowl appearance after kicking a field goal on fourth and goal with just minutes left in the NFC Championship Game.

With that being said, bettors can find money betting on other NFL odds as there are two teams here that stick out amongst the rest: the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots.

The 49ers are leaning on Jimmy Garoppolo to lead the way, but there have been whispers around the organization that they are not thrilled with how he has been performing for them. Also, the 49ers did attempt to make a run in the Tom Brady sweepstakes last offseason so that alone should let people know that the Niners are not that confident in their QB1 right now.

Something else to remember is that Rodgers grew up in California near San Francisco so this would be a homecoming for him.

Looking at the New England Patriots, no NFL bettors should count them out just yet despite the season that they had. They are still led by easily the greatest coach in the league and the history behind them alone should be enough for Rodgers to take into consideration.

The Pats have shown that they are doing just fine with drafting a quarterback, but it would be hard to believe that Bill Belichick would pass up the opportunity to get his hands on Rodgers.

Something to take into consideration here is that Rodgers does have ties with the front office in New England as executive, Eliot Wolf, who was with the Packers when they drafted Rodgers and also when he won the MVP is in the front office.
