OAKMONT, Penn. – The 2025 US Open tees off June 12th at Oakmont Country Club for the 125th edition of the classic tournament. Here are the golfers with the best odds to win the title.

Online sportsbooks give Scottie Scheffler the edge to win the event, followed by Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm.
Scheffler is the top ranked golfer on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and has won three events so far in 2025 for a total of 16 PGA Tour wins in his career. He’s finished in the top ten of each of the 12 events he has participated in this year, winning the PGA Championship and the Memorial Tournament.
Scheffler has yet to win the US Open in his career but has tied for second place in 2022.
Bryson DeChambeau has largely been involved in LIV Golf, winning LIV Korea in early May, but has also been active in PGA play, finishing second in the PGA Championship and fifth at the Masters. DeChambeau has 14 professional wins in his career, nine on the PGA Tour, three with LIV Golf, and two others in other events.
DeChambeau won the US Open back in 2020 at Winged Foot Golf Club.
Jon Rahm is listed at 77th overall on the OWGR, but has the third shortest odds of any golfer in the field. He has also been more active in LIV Golf than the PGA Tour, but does have 11 career PGA Tour wins. He has yet to win an individual event this year, finishing 14th at the Masters and eighth at the PGA Championship.

Rahm won the US Open in 2021 at Torrey Pines, recording a birdie on each of the last two holes in the final round.
Rory McIlroy currently sits in the second overall spot on the OWGR rankings after winning the Masters for the first time in his career in 2025. McIlroy has also won AT&T Pebble Beach and The Players Tournament this year, marking one of the best seasons of his storied career.
McIlroy won the US Open back in 2011, setting a tournament record at the time with a -16 final score.
Ludvig Aberg has consistently been atop the rankings this year and finds himself with the fifth shortest odds to win this year’s US Open. He won the Genesis Invitational in 2025 but missed the cut at the PGA Championship. Aberg has never won the US Open, but finished fourth in 2024.
The reigning US Open champion, Xander Schauffele, sits at +2200 odds to repeat after finishing with a -6 in the tournament last year. However, no golfer has won the US Open in consecutive years since 1989.
