2021 NBA MVP – Odds To Win

  • Anthony Davis +550
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo +650
  • Steph Curry +650
  • LeBron James +900
  • Kevin Durant +900
  • Jayson Tatum +1000
  • James Harden +1200
  • Damian Lillard +1600
  • Kawhi Leonard +2000
  • Joel Embiid +2500
  • Kyrie Irving +2500

  • Nikola Jokic +3000

  • Devin Booker +3500

Luka Doncic is currently listed as the favorite and he is very deserving of his NBA odds. He is coming off of an unbelievable 2020 season where he put up 28.8 ppg, 9.4 rpg and 8.8 rpg.

He led this Dallas Mavericks team to the seventh seed in the Western Conference and had an unbelievable first-time playoff performance where he averaged a near triple-double as well putting up 31 ppg, 9.8 rpg and 8.7 apg.

As long as Luka can remain playing at a high level, this would be a great bet to make.

Following close behind Luka is Anthony Davis who is also coming off of a great season during his first year with the Lakers.

Davis is coming off of an impressive 26.1 ppg, 9.3 rpg season and is expected to follow that up and more in the upcoming season being that not only is he coming off of his first NBA Championship but he also has made it known that he has opted to re-sign with the Los Angeles Lakers as well.

He will definitely look to up his numbers more than they are to repeat as NBA champs which makes Davis’ MVP odds very enticing.

Behind AD, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Currey both have +650 odds to win the MVP. It is clear as to why Giannis’ odds are as short as they are being that he is coming off of an MVP season and he certainly has the ability to run it back in 2021 as well.

As for Steph Curry, this would be an interesting bet being that Curry is coming off of an injured season that only allowed him to play five games on the year.

Steph is surely looking to get back to his MVP caliber form and will more than likely do so. Both Giannis and Steph offer great payout opportunities if they do end up coming out on top.

Longshots

The two longshot options that no NBA bettor should ever count out are LeBron James and Kevin Durant who are both sitting at +900 odds.

The fact that both LeBron and KD are both in a longshot situation should have bettors throwing money at both of their names. James needs no introduction as to why he could win the MVP as he is coming off of his fourth NBA Championship run and fourth Finals MVP at 35 years young.

It is clear that he is still at the top of his game and has shown no signs of slowing down.

As for Durant, he did not play in the 2019-2020 season due to an Achilles injury he suffered in the 2018-2019 NBA Finals and is looking to come out strong during his first season playing with the Brooklyn Nets.

He will clearly be the top scoring option on this team and has MVP experience as well. During his last full season playing, he averaged 26 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 5.9 apg. He can and likely will follow up those numbers and some in the 2021 season which makes his MVP odds that much more enticing.
