Following back-to-back races at Daytona International Speedway, it was just a short drive south for the best of NASCAR to the beautiful teal walls of Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Homestead will forgo its usual place as the final race of the season to run as the third race on the schedule this season. This will be the first of nine Cup races to be held at 1.5-mile tracks in 2021.

Denny Hamlin comes in as the natural favorite after winning three stages in two races so far this season. In the last six points races in Florida, Hamlin has yet to finish outside of the top five. He was able to qualify for pole position due to points heading into the race.

He will go up against the likes of Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, and Kyle Busch, who have all been waiting for their shot to take a checkered flag this season.

Logano nearly did so at the Daytona 500 before being spun out on the final lap, with the eventual crown going to Michael McDowell.

Bettors should also take a closer look at names like Aric Almirola and Corey LaJoie. Almirola is from Tampa and is always fast on the Florida tracks, while LaJoie appears to have elevated his game in his new No. 7 car, and could be next in line for his first win.

Those looking to bet on NASCAR are also focusing on the Xfinity race, which will be held at Homestead on Saturday.

Betting odds for that race are also available, with Tyler Reddick as the favorite.
