Three Underdog NFL Odds To Look Into For Week 4

LAS VEGAS – Week 4 of the 2021-2022 NFL season is on the horizon and there are plenty of odds to look out for. Especially different underdog odds that can and should be taken as soon as possible before a potential shift occurs as the week progresses.

The three teams to keep an eye on for underdog odds on online sportsbooks are the Detroit Lions, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Detroit Lions

At first glance, many are quick to overlook the Detroit Lions being that they are 0-3 and are coming off of a devastating loss against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. Looking ahead to their Week 4 matchup with the Chicago Bears, their first win could be closer than some might think.

The Bears are currently 1-2 and things seem to have gotten worse for them as their starting quarterback, Andy Dalton, went down with an injury that leaves rookie QB Justin Fields, to start. Fields started in Week 3 and looked horrific going 6-20 passing for 68 yards and was sacked nine times.

With Fields starting in Week 4, the Lions defense should have a field day as they have already recorded eight sacks on the season themselves. On the offensive end, the Lions are not terrible. They are in the top half of the league in both passing and rushing yards and could look to exploit on a Bears defense that has looked lost since the start of the season.

All in all, the Lions have gone 2-1 against the spread this season and will look to cover in a big way in Week 4.

The Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts NFL odds should be on underdog watch as well as they go up against the shorthanded Miami Dolphins. Like the Lions, the Colts are also 0-3 on the season, however, they have managed to keep their games close. Week 4 against the Dolphins could be their best chance to notch a win to their 2021-2022 record.

The Dolphins offense ranks in the bottom three of the league in terms of points per game and could have a bit of trouble against the Colts defensive line that features DeForest Buckner and Darius Leonard. Also, the Dolphins' offensive line has allowed 12 sacks already this season with this matchup being their biggest test against a Colts team that has all the makings of a playoff contender.

Without QB Tua Tagovailoa under center for the second straight week, the Dolphins could be in big trouble once again.

The Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are a surprising underdog in Week 4 against the Denver Broncos. Although the Broncos are 3-0 to start the season, they have only played three 0-3 teams. The Ravens are their biggest threat so far with a 2-1 record.

It is also worth noting that the Broncos took hits on the injury list with wide receiver, KJ Hamler, going down with a torn ACL and linebacker, Bradley Chubb, out indefinity on injury reserve. As for the Ravens, they have adjusted well this season despite all the injuries they suffered.

They are currently the eighth-ranked team in points scored per game and are Top-5 in yards per game as well. The Ravens should give the Broncos a good run for their money in this one behind QB Lamar Jackson who can be trusted on the game line.
