BUFFALO, N.Y. — As Week 6 of NFL action comes to an end, there is a heavyweight battle in the AFC during the early window of Monday Night Football between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.

Online sportsbooks currently are looking at the Kansas City Chiefs as the favorites to beat the Buffalo Bills.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills Odds

  • Moneyline: Chiefs (-250) vs. Bills (+210)
  • Spread: Chiefs -5.5
  • Total: 56.5 points

Starting with the moneyline, NFL odds are seeing the Chiefs as the favorites to defeat the Bills, and rightfully so.

Both teams have started off strong to start the season as they both sit with a 4-1 record, lead their respective divisions, and have not shown any signs of slowing down despite both of them coming off of Week 5 losses.

The Chiefs, however, could have a slight advantage here considering that they lost in competitive fashion as they lost by a single touchdown to the Las Vegas Raiders while the Bills were absolutely blown out of the water by the Tennessee Titans.

The Chiefs have also had much stronger opponents that they have beaten such as the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots while the Bills wins include the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. That being said, the Chiefs should be able to hold their own in this one and walk away with the win.

Looking at the spread, NFL betting sites are expecting a close game out of these two teams as they are separated by less than a touchdown.

The Chiefs have the advantage here as well when looking at their past games. In their four victories this season, they have had no problem covering the spread in three of those games. Not to mention that all three of those games that they covered, they covered by a landslide as they were all double-digit margins.

As for the Bills, they seemed to have trouble containing the Titans offense in Week 5 as they allowed for 40+ points and failed to cover the spread as well. If they continue to struggle containing strong offenses, they will likely not be able to cover the spread here on MNF.

As for the game total for points, NFL bettors could see a better cash out when betting on the Over. Hitting the over should not be a problem if the Bills show up to play. They were held to 16 points in Week 5 against a tough Titans defense but here in Week 6, the Chiefs defense is not as strong.

The Bills should be able to hold up their side of the scoring while the Chiefs are surely expected to as they have arguably the most explosive offense in the league.
