Army Vs. Navy Total Continues To Drop, Down To 34.5

  • The total in the Army-Navy game was set at 36.0 just a few days ago.
  • Now, the total sits at 34.5 with -110 odds on both sides.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Army Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen are seeing the total in their drop fairly quickly as it gets closer to kick-off.

Movement In The Total

When the odds opened for the rivalry matchup between the Army Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen, the total was set at 36.0 and despite the nature of the two run-heavy offenses, it seemed pretty obtainable.

However, over the last two days, the total has seen some major line movement, dropping a full point and a half. Plus, it’s possible that the total could see some more line movement prior to kick-off.

Army Vs Navy Total Odds

  • OVER 34.5 -110
  • UNDER 34.5 -110

If the number stays, this would be the lowest total of the 2021-2022 season, beating out the previous lowest total of 35.5.

Bet The OVER?

The Black Knights have quietly been a very good offense this season. They average 35.5 points per game which is more than the total already. That alone will likely drive college football betting fans to take a stab at the OVER, and considering that Navy allows 29.6 points per game, Army should be more than capable of putting up a good number of points.

Online sportsbooks may be looking too much into the history of the two rather than the two teams this season. Nine of Army’s 11 games have had 35 or more points while 10 of Navy’s 11 games have done so as well.

Only one of the last four games between the rivals have gone OVER the set total, but this simply seems like a game where points will be scored at a decent clip.
