  • BMX athlete from the U.S. Hannah Roberts is leading the pack as the favorite to take home the gold in the freestyle category of the 2021 Summer Olympics with odds of (-150).
  • Brown has been practicing the art of BMX for 10 years and placed first in her most recent competitions in 2019-200 and hopes to do the same in the Tokyo 2021 games.

TOKYO – BMX athlete Hannah Roberts will be representing the United States in the 2021 Summer Olympics for the sport.

This will be the first year that BMX is recognized as a sport by the Olympics and 19-year-old Roberts has qualified for the BMX Women’s Freestyle competition.

Who Is Hannah Roberts?

Roberts is from Buchanan, Michigan where plenty of retail and mobile sportsbooks should have wagers on the young star.

Michigan is fast growing in the world of sports betting and the 2021 Summer Olympics should be a huge draw, not to mention with competitors from their state adding to the till of action that will be seen by local sportsbooks.

Roberts’ love for BMX began when she was nine years old, giving her 10 years of experience in the sport. From 2019-2020 she won two World Championships and a Pan American Games gold medal.

It was through these competitions that she was able to solidify her spot in the Olympics in February.

“Hannah continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of BMX freestyle,” said Yin Woon Rani, CEO of MilkPEP. “More importantly, she continues to pave the path for future female athletes in her sport. She is a true role model, and we could not be more honored to play a role in her training and performance.”

Roberts In The Olympics

Sportsbooks have Roberts as a favorite to take home a gold medal in the Women’s BMX Freestyle category with odds of (-150). The athlete is still working on her performance and certain twists and turns she wants to add to the event to heighten the overall point percentage using more difficult maneuvers.

She will continue to be the front-runner at online sportsbooks due to her historical performances alone. She was the first woman BMXer to land a solid 360 tailwhip during an event which is just one more reason why she has been placing first in all of her most recent competitions.

“Now I’m just taking my time and dialing everything in,” said Roberts. “I have a few big flip whips and a front flip I want to do at the Olympics if I can figure out where to do them.”

The 2021 Summer Olympic Games begin July 23 from Tokyo while the Olympic dates for the BMX events kick off in late July.
