Democrats Closing In: Favored In Every State But North Carolina

  • Democrats have -310 odds to win Arizona.
  • Democrats are favored to win Georgia with -200 odds.
  • Republicans are favored to win North Carolina with -370 odds.

LAS VEGAS – As the Presidential Election continues, certain states are continuing to count their votes as well. The states that are still counting their votes include Arizona, Georgia, Nevada North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

Online sportsbooks have odds for which party will win each of these states and in four of the five states, Democrats are favored to win.

The only state of the five that is favored towards the Republicans is North Carolina.

North Carolina

The election odds are in favor of the Republicans considering the percentage of the votes that are already in and the lead that Donald Trump has on Joe Biden already.

Trump currently has 50.1% of the votes in his favor for 2,737,084 votes while Biden is sitting at 48.7% for 2,655,383 votes.

Those results are with 94% of the votes in the state reported. As the number of reported votes nears the end, however, they could make the case for the Republican odds even stronger.

Arizona

In a state that has been a typically red state in the past five elections, Arizona is favored to lead towards the Democrats.

Right now, currently with 88% of the votes reported in the state, Joe Biden leads with 50.5% of the votes (1,469,241) while Donald Trump is sitting at 48.1% of the votes (1,400,951). With their only being 88% of the votes counted and the votes being separated by 2%, election bettors looking for a longshot bet to make could take the chance here on the Republicans.

Georgia

Georgia is another state that usually leans towards Republicans but is favored Democrat. Georgia has voted Republican for the past six elections.

Being that it is split somewhat evenly, it has been a very close race in the state as Biden currently has the lead with 49.3% of the votes (588,252) while Trump is very close behind with 48.7% of the vote (580,605).

However, there are only 75% of the votes accounted for in the state.

Pennsylvania

In four of the last five elections, Pennsylvania has typically been a blue state which is why they are favored blue right now. However, with 89% of the votes reported in Pennsylvania, it is Trump who holds a solid lead right now with 50.7% of the votes (3,215,983) while Biden is sitting at 48.1% (3,051,565).

Being that Democrats are still favored despite being down by over 2% of the vote, now would be the time to look into the longshot odds of the Republicans.
