Teigen was a prominent presence on the website and deactivated her account on Wednesday, after claiming that the platform “no longer serves me as positively as it serves me negatively”.

Basically, it seems as though she was sick of people yelling at her online. Her final series of tweets (now unavailable, of course, but archived), went into a bit more detail.

Is a month away enough time for Teigen to want to come back to Twitter before May 1, 2021?
The sportsbooks don’t think so, with -500 odds that she stays gone until after that date. Online sportsbooks are unlikely to be part of Teigen’s thinking on this, so these odds are likely set up simply to get eyes on the sportsbook.
Still, the fact that these odds exist at all is intriguing, and a testament to how much Twitter has become real life.
