TORONTO – The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are in full swing and two more teams have a chance to close out their first-round series’ Thursday night.

The New York Islanders hold a 3-1 lead in their series with the Washington Capitals and look to take down the 2018 Stanley Cup champions in a mere five games.

NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs – 7:00 p.m. ET:

  • New York Islanders -115
  • Washington Capitals -105

The Capitals gained some momentum in the second period of Game 4 when Alexander Ovechkin began to finally make an impact on the series.

While the Islanders have played extremely well so far in this series, the Capitals are too good of a team to only win one out of five. Washington could also be welcoming back Niklas Backstrom into the lineup who is listed as questionable for the game.

Look for the Capitals to carry momentum into the early minutes of this contest.

  • Dallas Stars -125
  • Calgary Flames +105

Over in the Western Conference, the Dallas Stars also look to advance into the next round with a win Thursday night.

The Stars are up 3-2 on the Flames and have a slight betting advantage to win Game 6 at the best online sportsbooks.

Dallas is playing better after a lazy start to play in the NHL bubble. They are still without star Ben Bishop in goal but have seen tremendous production out of Anton Khudobin between the posts.

The Flames are also without Matthew Tkachuk, who is the biggest offensive weapon in Calgary’s arsenal.

Dallas could easily come out swinging to get a clutch win in Game 6, and the hockey moneyline  has great value at -125.
