CLEVELAND – NBA All-Star Weekend is ready to tip off on Friday with the celebrity All-Star game, however, the most anticipated contests come on All-Star Saturday. More specifically, the Dunk Contest in which high flyers in the league pull out all of their tricks.

This season, online betting sites are favoring Jalen Green to win the dunk contest. Where things get interesting though is that Green has a chance to be one of the few rookies to ever win the dunk contest. He would join the list of NBA greats like Zach LaVine (2015), Donovan Mitchell (2018), and Kobe Bryant (1997).

Green has the highest vertical leap of all four participants as well at 48 inches which was recorded at the NBA Combine. This is also tied with Michael Jordan for the highest leap in NBA history.

Although he has struggled offensively this season and the Houston Rockets have struggled as a whole, his flashes of athleticism will be put on notice here in the dunk contest and his favored NBA dunk contest odds certainly back that.

Obi Toppin

Toppin has been known as one of the most athletic power forwards in basketball since his college career at Dayton. Things haven’t changed much for him since getting to the NBA with a 40-inch vertical. He has thrown down some incredible in-game dunks this season and will look to showcase that during All-Star Weekend.

Cole Anthony

While many might not think of Cole Anthony as a high-profile dunker at his 6’3 frame, he should not be slept on. He has a 40-inch vertical and has been showing it off since 2018 when he won the City of Palms Classic Dunk contest.

Juan Toscano-Anderson

Many do not know about Toscano-Anderson being that he is on a star-studded Golden State Warriors offense. However, when he gets the ball in his hands, he has proven to be one of the most athletic players on the court and could be treated as a dark horse option to come out on top through All-Star Weekend.
